Teeth Whitening FAQs

At The Dental Clinic we invite you to attend an initial consultation where our dentists will be able to advise you whether you are suitable for the treatment. Women who are nursing or pregnant are advised not to have their teeth whitened. People who are sensitive to light should not undergo Zoom! Advanced Power™ tooth whitening, nor should patients involved in photo chemotherapy or diagnosed with melanoma. Patients taking over the counter or prescription light sensitive medications should consult their doctors before having Zoom! Advanced Power™ tooth whitening and it is not recommended for children under 13 years of age. If you are not a candidate for Zoom! Advanced Power™ tooth whitening, our dentists will often be able to recommend alternative cosmetic tooth whitening methods.
