Dr Steve Preddy
Dr Preddy is an experienced dental surgeon. He has been registered with the General Dental Council since qualifying in Bristol in 1982. After early work in the NHS he became established in Private General Dental Practice in 1990, initially in his own dental business. This led to the development of an interest in standards and clinical governance in dentistry, resulting in a move to the corporate sector in 2001.
He is now a full time clinician and manager with The Dental clinic and currently undertakes clinical work in Bromley, Kent and has managerial responsibility for clinics in the South of England. He is an active member of the British Dental Association and the British Society of Occlusal Studies.
Dr Preddy is a regular attendee of dental educational conferences and meetings allowing him to stay abreast of current developments in dentistry. He has undertaken courses in restorative and cosmetic dentistry, oral surgery, implants, treatment of temporo-mandibular joint dysfunction and headaches, neck and shoulder pain, orthodontics and endodontics.
He has particular interests in cosmetic and restorative dentistry, and has over 15 years experience in teeth whitening systems, and the relationship of the teeth and jaw joints to overall health. He particularly prides himself however on being a caring, sympathetic, gentle, family dentist.
